Your Business cannot afford to waste precious resources on 'Fly by Night Companies' whose main aim is to fleece hard earned cash out of new Businesses who are unaware of the genuine options that are available to them.
Get your Business to "Another Level" with the Internet but make sure you avoid wasting money.
There are many facets behind the scenes of a Website that need to be in place in order for your Business to get the exposure it needs. Just building a Site is nowhere near enough, but these Companies will not tell you that. So you are left with a Website floating in Cyberspace but with nobody viewing it
These Companies are playing on two facts:
The person who runs the Business doesn't know much about the Internet and what they need.
They know that you are aware that the future is on the Internet, and that you need the Internet to put your Business on "another level"
A genuine Web designer will automatically know what you need for your particular type of Business and can offer you several options to select from. An upgrade should only be necessary when there is a substantial change or growth in your Company, and this can be reviewed at your request.
1. Make sure it has a Content Editor system for quick and easy changes that you can do yourself. Not having to pay a web designer to change text and pages will save you money when you want to change text and pictures in the future.
2. It is essential that your Site looks good with nice big galleries and information pages.
3. Ask what keywords your Site is being optimized for. Make sure the keywords will get you found.
4. Don't pay inflated monthly fees; "it's a con".
5 . Make sure that Search Engine Entry and Search Engine Optimization comes as standard.
6. Marketing the site, in many ways, is more important than the site itself. Many websiteS that cost £1000's will never be seen. The site needs to be functional and look nice but correct SEO is far more important.1 in 5 companies still remain invisible to search engines "DONT BE ONE OF THOSE"
