Go Easy Into Network Marketing
By: Don Monteith

Nothing is easy to begin, however, certain actions can give you a starting place. Same goes for Network Marketing, Internet marketing or any kind of marketing in the world of today.

Nobody told you the facts. Most of the time it was an invitation to a meeting, a showing, or some place you had to go with a lot of other folks.

There's nothing wrong with meetings because it gives you the opportunity to learn about the program being shown and to see others who are newbies and some who are old-timers with the company.

Give all opportunities a chance to become a reality in your plans. Learn new ways to do things, try new programs, open yourself up to what others have proven successful.

Every business has it's nay-sayers, negative pushers within the ranks. Sure, it may not be a program or idea you can get excited about, and that's OK. Just give everything a maybe to begin, at least after you have given some review time. Patience is extremely important in all things.

Quick decisions are good in some cases, especially if the services or products fail to be exceptional in every way. Never get involved with poor quality or lousy service or it will kick you in the backside.

A bad name is to be avoided at all cost. Never recommend or suggest anything, business or otherwise to friends that you have questions about.

Trust is your #1 priority in all business situations as well as on the home front. No one wants to get connected with a liar, a cheat. Losers are usually found out in the marketeplace? None of us like to be let down by those we believe in.

Ask the right questions. Investigate the details. Why? How? Where? When? How long? Is it new? How mature is the plan?

Don't be concerned about anyone who becomes offended when you seek all the details. Write your concerns and questions down. Don't allow bluffing. Make sure you are satisfied with the response or dig deeper until you are satisfied.

Be sure that you run the details by your Mentor team for their agreement, their scrutiny, to be sure that none of you find a missing link deep in the plan.
